Melanoma:
Acne:
Acne is the most common disease in which is marked with pimples all over the body. It could be the mark of puberty in boys and girls.
Symptoms- crusting of skin bumps, whiteheads, blackheads, scarring of the skin, and small red bumps. Causes- when pores in the skin get clogged, also happen when you take some drug such as steroids Treatment-wash your face with some non-dry soap (like Dove) daily, avoid greasy food, or see a doctor |
Psoriasis:
Psoriasis is a long-term scaling disease of the skin.
Symptoms- thick patches of red, dry, and itchy skin Causes- obesity, smoking, uncontrolled stress, bacterial infection, or family history of the condition Diagnosis- physical exam and medical history Treatment- no cure yet but you could try applying a nonprescription cortisone cream and exposing skin to small amounts of sunlight |
Warts:
Athlete's Foot:Athlete's Foot is a disease in which fungi grow on the skin and if not treated, it can move to different parts of the body
Symptoms- burning, itching, cracking, and scaling Causes- dampness of the skin and lack of ventilation (most common fungi infection) Diagnosis- simply observing the skin that's infected Treatment- over-the counter medicines (such as Lamisil, Miconazole, etc.), or go to doctors for prescribed medication |
